I first started listening to radio at a very early age and started doing local pirate radio from the early eighties
My favourite stations and DJ’s included Capitol (Greg Edwards Soul Spectrum), Radio London’s Robbie Vincent, Pete Tong, Steve Walsh, Tony Blackburn, Jeff Young & Froggie who all influenced my musical knowledge of soul, disco ,jazz funk, soulful house and Mr David Rodigan with the reggae.
I ventured out into the world of the Lycecum in the Strand with the Radio London soul nights, the 100 club ,the Wag and every now & again Crackers with the legendary George Power.
In between going out and buying records and loads of them I started my own mobile disco to finance my thirst for records.
Then decided i wanted to broadcast as well as listening to all types of radio shows.
My first adventure into internet radio came about while sending in a demo to the guv called Dave Marley and Morpher radio which later turned into a great station called JFSR.
Also did some other stations here and there and enjoyed my time at Cruise fm, (Gary Bush)
My biggest thrill was meeting up with George Power and having a good two hour chat with him at his north London Crackers studios and doing a live radio demo, then being offered a 3 hour slot on the now Crackersradio.com
Now two years into my show i am still here and loving every minute.
