I started my DJ career with belt-driven decks and vinyl more than forty years ago. and I have my
musical roots from the deep funk and jazz, latin-jazz music emanating from Black America.
This has given me a great understanding of dance music ranging from 60’s Soul, 70’s Disco, 80’s Rare
Groove, 90’s dance and 00’s modern classics
80s club residencies included Americas in Southall, The Rio in Dicot, The Feathers in Ealing, and
Jacksons in Slough mainly playing Jazz and Soul Music. In addition to this the summer Bank Holidays
found me hosting the infamous Beach Parties on Barry Island in Wales
My influences include Tamala Motown, Stax, 1970s Funk, Lovers Rock, Jazz Funk, Reggae, Bluebeat
and Ska
A 70s music obsession includes a taste for clothing from the same era, the world of style, fashion and
music collide within my imagination

present, crossing the jazz funk and soulful spectrum
